As soon as I decided not to spend over £400 on Florence due to 35°c over there and the longest queue to enter the museum, Dani took me to Torino (or Turin) instead to visit other museums there; Egyptian Museum and and old palace called Palazzo Madama.

I have been told by Dani that Torino is a huge city of business and contemporary art. We found several sculptures and pieces of artwork being displayed around in the city, like this one below:

I couldn't take more of them since it was scorching hot and my feet felt burning.

From the parking lot, we walked to the Egyptian Museum.

The first thing I saw after entering was a mummy being preserved in 28°c.

It's a feeling between fun and awe. I sensed more dead people ahead.

However, I found a lot of other interesting artifacts inside.

And more dead people.

Egyptian used to believe in gods who showed themselves in form of animals, like cats, falcon, alligator or bull.

After that, we went to Palazzo Madama.

The interiors are amazing.

It also has beautiful decorations on the ceilings.

Most of the religious paintings got an interesting particular: other than using the normal paint, the artists used to apply very small scales of gold, in order to represent the halo.

There were also furnitures, plates, vases, clothes, sculptures, tools, and all kinds of material they used in the past. From the tower, I took a nice view of Torino.

We took a different way to the parking lot this time, and I found a spot of people expressing their 'art'.

And I also noticed that I captured a picture of someone wearing pretty ridiculously as a guy.

I guess this is why Torino is called a city of modern and contemporary art. Even the people are expressive. We missed some parts of Torino, especially the National Museum of Cinema. But I'm hoping to come back for this someday.
