These pictures really remind me of the days when I was small and having aunts or uncles getting married, back in Malaysia. It's very common to see people carving fruits and vegetables as servings to the guests during a wedding ceremony. I even actually watched my grandmother preparing a fake grape, using watermelon that was cut into small balls (which later being stolen by me because I was too curious of the taste).
I just miss those days! In fact, I even cried alone as a kid, with worries that what if one day I won't be able to see or eat her food anymore. Now my grandmother is too old, and I will always remember her this way; through all the nice and beautiful food servings she had prepared for ceremonies.
