WARNING: In case this article lures flamers, I strictly tell the readers here that this piece of information may not be 100% true because I didn't see it with my own eyes. So, if you have any additional information regarding this article, opposing or not, you are welcomed to post comments. Otherwise, DON'T EVEN THINK OF WASTING MY TIME. --------------------------------------------------------------- Many people nowadays are so scared of products Made in China. Because of this, many businessmen in China don't disclose the country their products are made from. Here is one way to identify a product. The first 3 digits of the barcode of a product tells you which country it is made in, for example:
All barcodes that start with 690 to 695 are made in China. The picture above has 471, meaning it is made in Taiwan. Other barcodes are: 00 to 13 = Made in USA and Canada 30 to 37 = Made in France 40 to 44 = Made in Germany 49 = Made in Japan 50 = Made in UK 57 = Made in Denmark 64 = Made in Finland 76 = Made in Switzerland and Liechtenstein 628 = Made in Saudi Arabia 629 = Made in United Arab Emirates 740 to 745 = Made in Central America 480 = Made in the Philippines
Now below, do read on for the specifics on good from China. This can be gross, since it includes chickens as sample, and chickens are my fluffy friends. Read labels and always buy fresh. Do not buy food processed in China, Thailand, Vietnam, and Hong Kong, since they don't have food inspection. So the story begins... Early dawn, riding around to collect dead chickens...
Asking for dead chickens from people...
Five people are hired to look around in farms for dead chickens.
A dead chicken costs 1 RMB (Renminbi, currency of China), and will cost 6 RMB after being processed.
Then they will place the dead chickens in the court yard...
...with so much trash around.
Then the employees will start removing the feathers from the chickens after being soaked in boiling water in a rusty large wok...
Sometimes, the smell gets very bad, even the most experienced worker would puke...
They rush to get the chickens nude...
A discarded bath tub is used to soak the dead chickens. The decomposition process is accelerated from the contaminated water.
And then they will be ready for coloring process.
And these are the chickens after the dye.
They look fresh, aren't they???
Now the chickens are ready for being roasted or canned for export!!!!
YAY I'M VEGETARIAN FOREVER!
